The branch of pedodontics, which deals with the oral and dental health diseases of children aged 0-13, covers the entire diagnosis and treatment processes from infancy.In particular, informing families about the importance of oral and dental health in the developmental stage of children, theoretically and practically, and many procedures such as;

- Dental prostheses,
- Treatments for dental traumas,
- Treatments of dental caries,
- Restorative dental treatments,
- Preventive treatment practices for negative habits, (such as thumb sucking, lip biting, nail-biting)
- And root canal treatment are performed by relevant specialists.
Pedodontists are specialized in procedures such as extracting milk teeth at the right time, which helps to feed children, preventing the formation of caries in the teeth, closing the grooves (fissures) that tend to decay, preventing the presence of bacteria, and applying fluoride that strengthens the tooth structure.
